Sergey Sosnov

Managing Director

Sergey has extensive investment management and financial technology experience. Prior to Saliford Sergey was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Investment Management Division in London where he managed over $1 billion in private clients’ funds. He also co-founded an online investment platform. Sergey holds an MBA from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania majoring in finance.

Sergey's primary areas of focus at Saliford are client relationships, business development and investment management.

Alex Konovalov

Director

Alex is an experienced international lawyer who worked for leading law firms Debevoise & Plimpton and White & Case in London, Moscow and New York. Alex is qualified in the US (New York State) and Russia and holds a Master of Laws degree from New York University School of Law.

Alex's primary areas of focus at Saliford are corporate/legal, regulatory and business development.

Alexander Klimenko

Founding Advisor

Alexander is a dynamic executive with extensive experience in digital, information and financial services industries. Alexander held leadership roles in business expansion, new product development and strategic transformation in multinational companies (Barclays, Reuters) and a successful high-growth start-up (Multex.com). Alexander holds an MBA from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Alexander's primary areas of focus at Saliford are strategy, FinTech, finance and operational management.

Max Potanin

Max Potanin is a seasoned investment professional. Prior to Saliford Max was at Soros Fund Management’s Quantum Fund where he specialised in market and portfolio risk management. He moved to Quantum Fund from Clearwater Capital Partners, a distressed debt and alternative investments hedge fund, where he was responsible for risk management and financial technology. Prior to that Max held various roles at Bloomberg LP and Birinyi Associates.

Max’s primary areas of focus at Saliford are investment management and risk management.

Alex Verbitsky

Alexander is helping Saliford to think through private investment situations leveraging his extensive mergers and acquisitions background with Goldman Sachs where he was Executive Director in the corporate finance team. Prior to Goldman Sachs Alexander was a private equity investor with Horizon Capital. Alexander holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.

Eugene Lutsenko

Eugene is an experienced investment professional who previously worked at Groton Partners, a boutique investment firm in New York, where he gained expertise in healthcare investment management, among other areas. Eugene holds a doctorate in chemistry from Wayne State University and an MBA from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also completed requirements to become a CFA charter holder.

Eugene's primary areas of focus at Saliford are alternative investments and options strategies.
